and a few words from me .........

My very first camera was purchased when I was about ten years old for just a few pounds (can't remember exactly how much) and a collection of Bazooka Joe comic strips. Bazooka Joe was a big block of pink bubble gum for those of you too young to remember and each block came wrapped with a comic strip. Although only plastic the camera was never far from reach and I was photographing just about everything that moved, even Dougall the dog (from the late 60's early 70's magic roundabound childrens TV program) managed to have his portrait taken.

Throughout the ensuing years many many hours of pleasure in the dark room followed as I learned how to produce black and white prints and then on to processing colour transparancies. Photography has been my life turning professional in July 1993 and although I have dabbled in other genres of photography (how can you turn down a film company from California USA offering the chance to shoot the stills for a an America TV show?) I concentrate mainly on wedding photography and portraiture.

Now I work from home where I have my studio and although compact, it's fully fitted and will easily accommodate a family for a portrait session. Being situated on the border near Salisbury I find myself ideally placed for wedding photography throughout the counties of Hampshire and Wiltshire.

Wedding photography is not for the feint hearted, it's a very definite responsibility and I pride myself in being able to capture your wedding day and present you with evocative and emotional images you will treasure. Just ask any of my previous clients I have delivered to over the years. I'm sure they would be happy to provide you with assurances of my work as a wedding photographer throughout Hampshire and Wiltshire. Most weeks during the season I find myself covering a wedding in either Salisbury, Andover, Southampton, Winchester, Basingstoke, Amesbury or anyone of the many villages situated between. Over the years I have worked as a wedding photographer throughout much of southern England and indeed would be happy to consider a wedding commission almost anywhere.
